Terms of Use

These terms apply when you visit clash-latest.com, read this site's guides, or use its download links. Review the scope of the materials before proceeding. Third-party software and services may have separate licenses or usage rules, which you must read and follow.

1. Site Purpose and Materials

Clash Chinese Edition compiles client download information, YAML configuration references, and usage guides for learning, research, and lawful network administration. This site does not represent the developers of the projects mentioned and does not establish any official authorization, agency, or endorsement through project names or download links.

The client handles the interface and configuration management, while the core handles proxy connections, rules, DNS, and related processing. Whether an example field works depends on the core version, client implementation, and runtime environment. Tutorial snippets are not complete configurations ready for direct connection. Users should verify them against their actual environment and should not treat example values as the device's current state or as universal recommendations.

2. Compliant Use and User Responsibility

Users must comply with the laws and regulations applicable where they are located and to their conduct, as well as the rules governing the networks and services they use. Do not use this site's materials or related software for unlawful purposes, including unauthorized system access, data theft, disruption of network operations, or infringement of others' lawful rights.

Before changing proxy, DNS, routing, or firewall settings on a workplace, school, or other managed network, obtain the necessary authorization. Users must independently confirm that they are legally entitled to use their subscriptions, nodes, and configuration sources. Keep subscription URLs, account details, and access credentials secure, and never submit sensitive configurations to public pages or untrusted services.

Back up the original files and record the system's network settings before changing the configuration. When working with remote devices, keep a recovery path available to avoid losing access before the changes can be reverted.

3. Software Sources and Disclaimer

Related open-source software is provided by its respective projects and maintainers. Installation, updates, and runtime requirements are governed by each project's release documentation. This site organizes information and provides download guidance; it does not provide proxy nodes, subscription accounts, or network connectivity services. An accessible download link does not guarantee compatibility with your device or suitability for a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site makes no guarantees regarding the continued availability, compatibility, or performance of third-party software, subscriptions, or links, and accepts no responsibility for network interruptions, overwritten configurations, data loss, or other consequences resulting from the use of related materials or software. This site cannot control third-party content or subsequent changes and does not replace the user's responsibility to back up data and verify the environment.

These terms do not exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded, nor do they diminish rights granted to users by law. If something goes wrong, stop the relevant operation first and restore the last known working settings. For the recommended troubleshooting sequence, see the connection verification guide.

4. Intellectual Property and Open-Source Licenses

The rights to software names, marks, code, and other project materials mentioned on this site belong to their respective rights holders. Use, modification, copying, and distribution of open-source projects must follow the license accompanying the applicable version. The ability to download or view source code does not waive attribution, copyright notices, source-availability requirements, or any other license obligations.

When quoting original explanations from this site, credit the source and do not distort the original meaning. This site's compilation of third-party materials does not change the underlying ownership or grant any additional trademark or code license. Before incorporating examples into a public project or commercial environment, review the applicable license terms separately.

5. Changes to These Terms and Issue Handling

This site may revise these terms when its content scope, maintenance practices, or applicable rules change. Revised terms will be published on this page, and the month shown at the top will be updated. Changes affecting important user rights or obligations will be explained here; where separate notice or consent is required, it will be handled as required by applicable law.

Before downloading again or following a guide, review this page and the relevant project documentation. If you have questions about the steps or need to organize a configuration issue for reporting to the relevant project, first consult Getting Started and Validation and Troubleshooting. Record the client, core, and observed error, and remove credentials and personal information from logs.
